Ceramic Armour

FMM has patented technology for the manufacture of light-weight armour tiles based on the following light-weight ceramics:

• Silicon Carbide (SiC)
• Boron Carbide (B4C)
• Silicon Nitride (Si3N4)
• Titanium Boride (TiB2)

Superior ballistic performance of these ceramics is derived from the patented process and know how developed over the last 20 years of R&D.

FMM can manufacture custom made materials with superior peoperties not found in other ceramics. FMM offers new class of light weight armour ceramics based on Silicon Carbide, Boron Carbide and Titanium Boride.
